Palisades Tennis Center
The Palisades Tennis Center is a cornerstone of community life, bringing people together through sport and shared space. As part of Village Rising Foundation’s recovery efforts, it’s more than rebuilt courts. It’s a place for youth development, accessible programming, and lasting connection.
Community Impact
- Partnered with schools impacted by wildfires to integrate tennis into physical education
- Distributed over $125,000 to nonprofit organizations in Altadena and the Palisades.
- Provided meals to over 275 school faculty and staff
- Collaborated with the City of LA to secure access to tennis at the Palisades Recreation Center.
Supporting Community Schools

- Schools have long been a pillar of resilience, strength, and service to their communities. Rebuilding starts with supporting our children.
VRF can provide immediate and near-term relief with program enhancements including:
- Relaunching the Sports Program by providing necessary equipment such as P.E. gear, sporting goods.
- Rebuilding academic programs and providing learning materials needed to roll out robust programs.
- Ongoing mental health trauma support for the faculty and students
- Other Enrichment needs, such as music equipment, art equipment, and other tactile therapies to aid in the healing process.
