Schools have long been a pillar of resilience, strength, and service to their communities. If the rebuilding efforts are to be successful, the focus must start with our children.
Our current fundraising goal is to raise $150,000 to help area schools.
With meaningful support, Village Rising Foundation can provide immediate and near-term relief with program enhancements such as in the areas identified below.
-Relaunching the Sports Program by providing necessary equipment such as P.E. gear, sporting goods, and a shed to house everything. i.e. jump ropes, basketballs, hockey sticks, soccer balls, frisbees, wiffle ball sets, volleyballs, flag football sets, ball carts and Yoga instructors on campus.
-Rebuilding the Science curriculum, by providing necessary science equipment needed to roll out a robust program.
-Learning materials needed to enhance daily teaching and learning. Many of the faculty relied on resources from Lakeshore Learning and would love to be able to replace materials such as learning centers, bookcases, reading area rugs and tents, and the like.
-Providing ongoing mental health trauma support for the faculty and students and additional security, such as a full-time crossing guard.
-All other Enrichment needs, such as music equipment, art equipment, and other tactile therapies to aid in the healing process.
